70FA8244-2D75-4F69-959F-94DE36C3D2C7Hi – I’m Lindsay Schofield, a consultant psychotherapist, supervisor and tutor, and I’ve worked in private practice for nearly 20 years.  I’ve trained in many models of therapy because everyone is so different and recognising each person’s uniqueness, I want to be able to offer help to individuals.

An area in which I’ve specialized is trauma and dissociation.   I also teach a trauma therapy model (PICT), that helps therapists support and enable clients to move on from these experiences – particularly those involving abuse.

Therapy – I work with clients of all ages, and with a wide range of difficulties.

It’s important to me that you feel heard, understood and supported as you work towards creating lasting change.  Recognizing we’re all unique, I’ve completed a broad range of training so I’m able to purposefully integrate theories and interventions to meet the needs of individuals.

Supervision – I enjoy working with other therapists to support them and help them develop to their best potential.  I’ve completed advanced qualifications in supervision to help me to serve supervisees well; please follow the supervision link above.

Online – I am willing, able and qualified to offer therapy and supervision online – a lifeline to so many during recent challenging times.

Training – I’m the Programme Director for Penny Parks Training, teaching the specialist and effective PICT Diploma model and workshops to other professionals. PICT equips therapists to help clients resolve trauma and abuse issues – please see the link above for more information on PICT.
